once upon a time...
...a young woman entered the forest with a broken heart and a broken womb. She was so bereft with grief; she didn’t even realise she had gotten lost. She searched and searched for a way to get back home, her tears making the soil fertile. As she pilgrimed through dense and dark woods, she began to awaken ancient and ancestral gifts. She learnt that she could pull down heaven from the skies, that her words were medicine laced with beauty, and that stories were alive and alchemical. On her way she met witches, fairies, and ghosts, followed the smoke to a cabin in the woods filled with good women until she eventually moved in. And one day, on an ordinary day when there was dirt under her fingernails, beech nuts flying into her hair, and caterpillars landing on her lap, she noticed that belonging had sprouted from her tears. She realised that there was no home to go back to, the earth had claimed her.
That young woman is me and there is life before I entered the forest and life after I entered the forest. A forest in which I was rewilded, rebirthed and eventually rooted to the place I was invited to call home. In the past seven years I have journeyed to the depths of the underworld. I have been forced to put down my armour, befriend my shadow, and listen to what life wanted for me. This is not the life I had imagined but it is the life I was unaware I’d longed for. A life courted by the wild and sacred, guided by intuition and seeped in mysticism and magic. Where my mind is at peace, my hands occupied with creativity and my heart overflowing with gratitude. In between the moments of life’s waves of adversity and treading uncharted water, these experiences, these skills, these communities, these old ways are my anchors.

At 24, the author was the Head of Training and Development at a Foreign Exchange Company but left the corporate world after a quarter-life crisis to redefine success on their own terms. They shared a viral LinkedIn post reflecting on how societal views of success—money, power, and status—come with a cost, such as burnout and stress. Since leaving their job, the author became a two-time LinkedIn Top Voice, an official LinkedIn Learning Instructor, and created content on Reinvention and Storytelling with over half a million learners. They also co-created #LinkedInLocal, a global community-building campaign. The author now helps individuals and businesses build their LinkedIn presence and develop purpose-driven storytelling..
At the peak of her entrepreneurial career, the author’s world changed after suffering an ectopic pregnancy, which led to a deep period of grief and loss, affecting their identity, career, relationship, and zest for life. Attending a retreat in the Hampshire woodlands, they encountered the myth of the Handless Maiden, which sparked a journey of self-inquiry and healing. The author explored how loss teaches us about love, deepened their connection with nature, and discovered that creativity, mythology, and writing could facilitate healing. In 2023, they took a sabbatical to reconnect with their Colombian and Moroccan roots, heal intergenerational trauma, and rediscover sacred ancestral stories, which now inform their work.
I help people embrace the courage to be truly seen in the world. As humans, our fear of visibility and our deep need to belong often hold us back from stepping into our fullest selves. My work empowers individuals to navigate these tensions, in order to find their medicine and message. Drawing from my lived experience, tools, and skills, I support people in navigating their own forests of transformation—whether they are seeking personal clarity, resilience through adversity, alignment with their deepest purpose or the courage to be truly seen. Through the transformative power of myth, creativity, and writing, I guide individuals and audiences to rediscover their voice, their courage, their resilience and their way back home—to themselves.
Let’s begin your journey together.
